MASS 1200 - Massage Practice: Business, Management, and Clinic 2 Credit(s) This course is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to navigate the massage therapy industry successfully. Topics include business management, marketing strategies, employment opportunities, and practice management. Students will learn key aspects to establish and sustain a massage practice including employment opportunities in various settings. Students will also apply their learning in a supervised student clinic environment providing appropriate entry level massage therapy services.
Prerequisite(s): MASS 1210 , MASS 1110 , MASS 1401 , and MASS 1302 . Corequisite(s): MASS 1601 , MASS 1420 , and MASS 1220 .
Lecture Hours: 1 hour per week Clinical Hours: 3 hours per week
