MASS 1302 - Foundations of General Wellness Massage

This course focuses on general wellness massage techniques which serve as the foundation for the development of Western styles of massage. Through extensive hands on practice, students will develop skillful pressure, pacing, and sequencing in the application of these techniques. Students will satisfactorily demonstrate one effective routine for relaxation massage. Efficient and effective body mechanics will be emphasized. 

Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Massage Therapy program and Reading Learning Support, if required. Corequisite(s): MASS 1210 , MASS 1110 , and MASS 1401 .
