DHYG 133 - General and Oral Pathology 3 Credit(s) This course will combine general and oral pathology found in the human system. Concepts of pathologic physiology included in this course are the inflammatory process, wound healing, and immunology. Emphasis will be placed on the oral/facial characteristics of systemic disease. Principles of pathology, clinical features, risk factors, etiology, locations, and treatment options are presented.
Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Dental Hygiene program, DHYG 112 , DHYG 121 , DHYG 141 , and DHYG 161 . Corequisite(s): DHYG 171 .
