MATH 1920 - Calculus II

A continuation of the standard year of freshman calculus, this course includes integration by substitution, by-parts, partial fractions and trigonometric substitutions for both algebraic and transcendental functions. Further applications of integration, such as area between curves, volumes of rotation, and surfaces of revolution are considered. Indeterminate forms, l’Hopital’s Rule, and improper integrals are covered. Infinite series, including Taylor and MacClaurin with applications complete the semester.
