GEOL 1050 - Historical Geology

The study of the Earth’s physical and biological history as interpreted from the rock and fossil record. Topics include an introduction to fossils, evolution and ancient environments, stratigraphy, and a review of earth history.

Note(s): GEOL 1040  is a recommended prerequisite.

Prerequisite(s): Reading Learning Support, if required. Corequisite(s): None.

Lecture Hours: 3 hours per week Lab Hours: 3 hours per week
