EMR 1000 - Emergency Medical Responder 3 Credit(s) This is the initial course in pre-hospital emergency medical care. Student learning will focus on patient assessment, current American Heart Association CPR and Stroke guidelines, emergency care and movement of patients without causing injury. Successful completion of this course will allow the student to sit for licensure given by the National Registry of EMTs.

Prerequisite(s): 17 years old by course completion. Corequisite(s): None.
