CHET 1410 - Process Operations I

Introduction to basic chemical engineering calculations; intro to flow and heat concepts, fluid flow and separation principles; operational principles of columns, boilers, heat exchangers, and refrigeration; applications of common industrial processes; safety, troubleshooting, and communication skills are emphasized.

Prerequisite(s): ENST 1300  or MATH 1130 , CHEM 1010  or CHEM 1110 , and ENST 1362 , all with a C or higher. Corequisite(s): None.

Lecture Hours: 3 hours per week Lab Hours: 3 hours per week
