This course is an introductory survey of the principles, concepts, methods, and scope of anthropology. Emphasis is placed on the nature of culture, sociocultural adaptation, language, kinship, social systems, subsistence patterns, art, ritual and belief systems, and the impact of change.

Prerequisite(s): Reading Learning Support, if required. Corequisite(s): None.
